tension jeh. plan nk upload macam2 tp selalu je tertinggal kamera. paling tension hari tuh pergi kk tido 2 malam tp dah drive halfway baru perasan kamera tinggal (bukan tanggungjawab saya). so terima je lah. lagi pon tengah bulan ramadhan. kena banyak bersabar...

bulan puasa kali ni cukup sederhana. buka puasa macam makan harian. nasi + lauk + sayur. kalau lebih pon ikan masin. alhamdulillah poket pon selamat! bukan kedekut tapi sayang nak membazir makanan. 2 kali beli juadah di param. mesti separuh terbuang. kami laki bini bukan jenis ulang makan. cikgu nuar lepas terawih paling tidak pon mintak air panas je...

alhamdulillah niat nak masak & berkongsi dengan jiran2 akhirnye tercapai pada ramadhan ke3 di sipitang. satu hari projek kat dapur. malam terpaksa letak bantal bawah kaki. lenguh... masak soto + bergedel je...







antara masakan mengancam bulan ramadhan ni ketam masak lemak cili api, siakap garing berkuah tomyam & siakap stim. masa pergi kk hari tu beli la seafood best2 sikit kat pasar seafood yang besar tuh. kebetulan bulan tengah mengambang jd ketam mmg gemuk & penuh berisi! resepi masak lemak tu adapted from resepi.mesra.net. lainnyer resepi ni - pakai daun kesum instead of daun kunyit. memang sedap. yang siakap garing berkuah tomyam tu resepi famili saya...





ok, mari memasak. siakap stim. amat simple. boleh juga guna ikan yang sesuai di stim macam kerapu & nyok nyok putih.



bahan2 yang diperlukan. from top clockwise:
cili api dibelah tengah - ikut suka pedas
daun limau purut - 1 helai besar (ramas dan koyak2)
limau nipis - ikut suka masam
halia - 1/2 inci (hiris)
bawang merah - 1 ulas (hiris)
bawang putih - 1 ulas (hiris)
bawang besar - 1/2 labu (hiris)
serai - 1 (dititik)
asam boi - 1 biji



dan ikan. ikan diperap sekejap dengan garam & 1 kiub mini ayam.

nak masak senang je. masukkan ikan dalam kuali non-stick. tabur semua bahan atas ikan (kecuali limau nipis). masukkan air hingga separuh tenggelam & garam secukup rasa dan tutup. masak atas api kecil tp x la kecil sangat. bila dah mendidih tengok jam. ikut ketebalan ikan biar mendidih 15 hingga 25 minit. mmg nama stim tp sebenarnye rebus kering je. nak mudahkan hidup...





hah, ni lah rupanyer bila dah siap. sebelum makan perahkan limau nipis. tu je.

mari memasak - mihun garing cantonese

BAHAN-BAHAN (untuk hidangan 3 - 4 orang):


mihun - 2 keping


bawang putih - seulas (cincang)
halia - setengah inci


limau nipis - 1 - 2 biji (ikut suka masam tapi kalau masam sangat x sedap so agak2 lah ye)
cili padi - 5 - 10 biji (ikut suka pedas)
[haaa 2 bahan ni kena ade tau. 2 bahan ni lah yang akan "memelayukan" masakan ala2 cina ni]


isi ayam (aku pakai dada sebelah)
[juga boleh campur / ganti ngan udang atau sotong)


carrot - setengah batang


sawi - 1/3 - 1/2 ikat & asingkan daun ngan batang (jumlah sayur kena seimbang ngan jumlah ayam. kalu x kuah rase sayur ie x bape sedap)


air - 1 jag kecil
bancuhan tepung jagung - 4 sudu besar + 1 gelas besar air masak yg x panas
[yang dua bahan ni kena lah pandai agak2 sebenarnye...)


kiub ayam mini (opt) - aku pakai 1 je sebenarnye

CARA-CARA MEMASAK:

MIHUN


panaskan minyak yang agak banyak. pastikan minyak betul2 panas.


test kepanasan minyak. kalo mihun x kembang (& curl up) tu maksudnye minyak belum panas betul tu. contoh kat sini sebenarnye x bape kembang.


goreng mihun keping demi keping bile dah yakin minyak panas betul.


macam ni lah rupa mihun setelah digoreng garing. jangan goreng lama2, nanti tukar warna. & jangan risau kalau mihun x kembang semua. mihun tu akan lembut juga bila dituang kuah.

KUAH


tumis bawang putih & halia dengan minyak yang sikit.


masukkan ayam & goreng sekejap. ini adalah supaya ayam tersebut hilang hanyirnye.


masukkan air.


masukkan cili padi.


biarkan sampai mendidih.


masukkan carrot & biar masak (dalam 3 - 5 min)


setelah carrot masak, masukkan batang sawi.


tuangkan bancuhan tepung jagung sikit demi sikit sambil kacau rata. berhenti bile kuah agak pekat.
ok, masukkan garam secukup rase & kiub ayam mini tuh. rase jangan x rase. kalau lambat rase maka layu lah sayur2 nanti sbb mana tau nak baiki rase tuh nanti. dah rase perfect kat sini baru g step seterusnya.


masukkan 1 biji telur (opt)
[xde dalam senarai bahan di atas. terlupa nak ambil gambar


biar sekejap untuk telur masak.


masukkan daun sawi.


kacau hingga sawi tu masak. tapi jangan lah sampai layu. bile dah sawi separuh masak sebenarnye boleh tutup api.


setelah tutup api, picitkan limau nipis & kacau rata. siap...


tuangkan kuah ke atas mihun garing tadi.


tabur hirisan daun bawang & bawang goreng (x payah pun xpe) & sedia untuk dimakan...


habis...

our (nexus) karambunai trip - celebrating our 3rd anni.

immediately after the school hols started, we went to spend a night at nexus resort, karambunai. sangat best. kami semua happy sangat. we got our room straight away after we checked in but it was a ground floor room so i immediately asked for a change. leceh la kalo G floor. susah nak buka sliding door. takut ada orang lalu lalang. so we had to wait for about half an hour for a 1st floor room. masih sedang dibersihkan. sementara tunggu kami pun round la resort tuh... seriously a beautiful and spacious resort...

the room was okay. when we arrived, the room smelled damp. mungkin sebab baru sangat dibersihkan. anyway, it was clean. the fridge was empty which i like. senang nak isi macam2 kan. the beds were quite big. our beds were two singles pushed together. enough space (and more) for the four of us.

the bathroom - separate bath & shower. ada paip di sebelah tandas. suitable for us muslim.







lepas checked in je kami terus pi swimming. isk jangan x tau, yours truly beli swimming suit muslimah (from arena). sebenarnye dilah yang belikan & pos ke sini. kalau kat KL boleh beli kat OU (butik arena), berjaya times square & sunway pyramid. butik sun paradise kalau x silap. price - RM299 ( i know ) tapi time dilah belikan tu ada 20% discount so okay la. kalau pandai jaga sure tahan lama kan. what i like about the swimsuit is the top is just like a long-sleeve t-shirt. x la ketat cam scuba diving suit tuh & cover bontot.

they are three swimming pools in nexus. 0.5m (for kids), 1m and 1.2m. we spent our time in the 1.2m pool. the pool is quite big. we hardly bumped into other people e/though there were many of them.





arshad yang mula2 takut



malam tu kami husband & wife went for buffet dinner at the penyu. we left aisyah & arshad at the nexie club (kids club near penyu restaurant) with a babysitter. babysitting charge: one child per hour - RM30. next hour - RM5 per child. kalau x silap la. we left them for an hour. they charged us only RM30







the next day, we had breakfast beside a garden near the pool. so beautiful... after that we went for a walk by the beach and took pictures around the resort. next, it's swimming time! lepas mandi kolam, balik bilik & siap2 nak balik. isk memang rasa xnak balik. x puas rasanya. but we're on a tight budget so that's it...

anyway, we are planning to come back next year. insyaAllah...

ps: actually today is our 3rd anni. we had celebrated it a few days earlier. so happy 3rd anniversary to us!
